The Challenge: Lack of streamlined process for visitors
Mitsubishi Electric lacked proper tracking of the visitors at the MCI office and monitoring through the real-time dashboard. There was no concurrent notification or alert to the respective employee regarding relevant details of the visitor. Hence, there was no streamlined process for visitor management.
The Solution: Custom Visitor Management App
We analyzed the problem and iterated to streamline the check-in process for each type of visit to make it more pleasant for visitors and receptionists through a visitor management app.
Visitors Management App is a custom app created in Zoho Creator with the integration of a telephonic company to trigger the call/SMS.
Whenever a visitor comes to reception, the receptionist submits a registration form in the app. This form has the basic details of visitors and employees.
Once the form is submitted, it will trigger the email and SMS to the concerned employee. Moreover, it will ask to make the call to the employee, and if the user responds as YES, then it will trigger miss call to the employee.

The End Results:
After implementing the visitor management app, Mitsubishi could collect the visitor database on a single platform and streamline the visitor management process. It also minimized the communication gap between visitors and employees.
The manual process was reduced by auto notifications to the employees via email and SMS. The app also decreased the manual effort by about 90%
